Robert Bartel is an award winning writer, filmmaker, and passionate advocate for the arts. With a creative career spanning over three decades, he has written, produced, and directed screenplays, stage plays, books, and documentaries. His screenplay ANDROID earned recognition at the 2018 OSCAR RCCI, and his documentary George Harrison: A Beatle in Benton, IL was featured on Prime TV. A lifelong Beatles enthusiast, Bartel has also led multiple arts organizations and founded the Poets and Writers Literary Forum of Springfield, Illinois. With formal education in the arts and a heart rooted in storytelling, his work continues to inspire music lovers and creatives around the world.
